Little by little you will leave the noise of the
town behind you as you walk up the drive and arrive at the second
courtyard, the real entrance to the garden.
Before going into the hothouse make sure you have absorbed
the essence of this round court. From here you can see the main
house through the airy branches of the olive trees and the otatea
aztecarum, a South American bamboo. The wall behind the fountain
is covered with a native perennial whose vanilla-scented flowers
bloom from early summer the trachelium caeruleum.
